Judul	:	PENERAPAN GELOMBANG OTAK ALFA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS X SMA PLUS PGRI CIBINONG
Abstrak	:	ABSTRACT   Reading as one of the Indonesian requires concentration skills in the implementation. when students are reading, they could not be in a nervous and panic conditions. The purpose of reading which is getting the information and understand the context will not be achieved if the students are not comfortable doing it. Whether it is comfort or not the conditions of reading in the classroom can be empowered by the teacher. With the ability of the teacher to design learning ambience in the conducive classroom and activate the  student's  alpha  waves  of  brain,  the teaching  goals  are  expected  could  be  achieved optimally.   The research concerning in alpha waves's brain implementation were proven to be effective in increasing  the student's skill  of  understanding  reading.  According  to  the calculation using t-test formula, the value of t0 is 2,75 bigger than the value of t critics on tt 5%=1,67,  tt   1%=2,39.  The  value  of  t0   is  significant  because  value  of  tt<t0   which  is 1,67<2,75>2,39. Result of the research shows that the alpha brain wave’s implementation succeded in the increas of the students's skill of understanding reading on the X's class of SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong.
