Judul : The Effectiveness of developing pocket models based on local natural wealth
Abstrak :

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of pocket book based on local environmental richness (wealth) for the learning process in Junior and senior high school that is categorized as adequate. This research is categorized as developmental research that utilizes Research and Development method (R&D method). This research applies the method development model ADDIE in the stages comprising the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data analysis technics used are qualitative descriptive and quantitative. The data are obtained from validators (validating experts) that consist of three experts namely material expert, language expert and learning media expert, and reviewers and also respondents consisting of 20 senior high school students and 1 senior high school teacher. The steps to produce the learning media pocket book based on local environmental richness are as follows: need analysis, design of learning media, development of leaning media with the experts, implementation in the school and evaluation. Based on the data analysis it can be concluded that pocket book based on local environmental richness that is developed has the size of 12.5 to 15 cm, printed in magazine paper weighing 80 g/m2; consisting of pictures of local environmental richness of Bogor; in Indonesia language; consisting of cover, table of content, table of figures (pictures), list of tables, content (body), closing and bibliography; functioning as independent learning media used both in and outside of classroom for junior and senior high school students. This media of learning pocket book containing the local environmental richness is successfully implemented in a senior high school in Bogor regency by considering the comprehension of the values of environmental concept.
