Judul : Ketidaklangsungan Verbal Sebagai Salah Satu Ciri Kesantunan Berbahasa Masyarakat Jepang
Abstrak :

Ketidaklangsungan verbal merupakan salah satu karakteristik berkomunikasi masyarakat Jepang. Hal ini terlihat dari penggunaan ucapan-ucapan yang tidak selesai, ambigu, diam, minimnya penjelasan, sering kali terlihat ragu-ragu, penggunaan jeda, tertawa atau  tersenyum ketika terlihat tidak setuju terhadap suatu hal. 

Kata Kunci: Elipsis,ambiguitas, kesantunan, harmoni
