Judul : TEENAGERS SELF CONCEPT’S IN BEHAVIORAL OF HEALTHY EAT
Abstrak :

This study seeks to explain and describe the relationship between adolescent self-concept with adolescent perceptions of the culture of healthy eating. The study was designed using a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational survey research design. Observations in this study produced answers, from individual characteristic variables (X1) which included gender, pocket money, parents occupation, residence status and the number of siblings and self-concept variable (X2) consisting of self-image and self-esteem variables shows a significant relationship with the variable cultural perception of healthy eating (Y) which consists of reporting variables in the mass media and socialization with peers. Relationship value is 0.548. Based on the results of the study, obtained answers, the higher the self-image of adolescents, the higher the need for culinary news in the mass media. Teenagers understand the need to maintain health and maintain body shape in order to remain proportionate by avoiding carbohydrates. Teenagers consider trying “trending food” with friends when conditions allow. Teenagers believe that a healthy body becomes a provision in relationships. Teenagers make mass media as a source in getting information related to healthy food and new eating places (cafes) with new culinary menus that are innovative and affordable prices. Teenagers occasionally gather with friends as a way to socialize. Enjoying food with friends in a café can strengthen relationships with peers. Cafes become one of the choices for teens to get along. Despite consuming food in cafes, teenagers are still thinking about maintaining their body shape and appearance. Teenagers know the concept of “4 sehat 5 sempurna” but do not always choose a diet with sufficient nutritional content. Foods in cafes often contain high flour, sugar, and fat. However, for teenagers, occasionally eating foods with incomplete nutritional content is common. Keywords: Culture, Health of Eat, Self Concept, Teenagers.
