Judul : GEOLOGI UNTUK PERENCANAAN
Abstrak :

Geologi untuk perencanaan dapat diartikan sebagai penerapan informasi geologi dalam pembangunan terutama untuk meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan untuk meminimalkan degradasi lingkungan sebagai akibat perubahan perubahan yang terjadi dari pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam. 

Materi pokok yang dibahas dalam buku ini berupa kajian ilmu geologi dalam perencanaan wilayah serta aspek-aspek geologi yang berkaitan dengan kebutuhan dan pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam dan lingkungan bumi bagi kehidupan manusia. 

Buku ini disusun secara terstruktur yang terbagai dalam 11 (sebelas) bab dan pengorganisasiannya secara modul, yaitu:

Bab 3.   Mineral dan Batuan

Bab 4.   Geologi Struktur dan Teori Tektonik Lempeng

Bab 7.   Bahaya Geologi

Bab 8.   Proses Perencanaan Tataguna Lahan dan Metoda Penilaian Kapabilitas Lahan

Bab 9.   Perencanaan Tataguna Lahan Berbasis Mitigasi Bencana Geologi

Bab 10. Pengolahan Limbah Padat

Bab 11. Pengelolaan Pesisir dan Laut

Dengan selesainya buku ini penulis berharap semoga dapat menjadi bahan bacaan dan referensi bagi para pembaca, khususnya bagi mahasiswa yang mengambil perkuliahan Geologi Lingkungan.
