Abstrak	:	Abstract Pada hakekatnya geomorfologi adalah ilmu tentang roman muka bumi beserta aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhinya termasuk deskripsi, klasifikasi, genesa, perkembangan dan sejarah permukaan bumi. Secara garis besar proses pembentukan muka bumi menganut azas berkelanjutan dalam bentuk daur geomorfik (geomorphic cycles), yang meliputi pembentukan daratan oleh gaya dari dalam bumi (endogen), proses penghancuran/pelapukan karena pengaruh luar atau gaya eksogen, proses pengendapan dari hasil penghancuran muka bumi, dan kembali terangkat karena tenaga endogen, demikian seterusnya merupakan siklus geomorfologi yang ada dalam skala waktu yang sangat lama.  Adapun buku ini disusun sesuai dengan silabus dan satuan acara perkuliahan (SAP) matakuliah Geomorfologi.
