Judul : Social Control Applied in Minangkabau as a Complement to Family Communication about Culture

Abstrak :
Social control is needed to make a rule in the community that is consistently applied. Thus, a sanction system is imposed if violated. The social control system that is still applied until today in Maninjau and Sungai Batang is by strengthening beliefs, by rewarding, by developing shame, and by developing fear. This research raises a different understanding about the scope of family in particular family typology. This condition brings a different depth to the application of the four applicable control system.
