Abstrak :

Sinar Siak Dian Permai has the potential of implementing several projects on site to improve the environmental performance as well as provide clean energy options for local use.  The methane capture from the anaerobic digestion and utilization of some fibres for organic diesel generation can be considered. Alternative energy such as POM that will convert into become electricity is very potential to be sold to PLN. Waste of POM has potential role to develop the electricity energy sector in Indonesia.


The Method of research by Using survey and Data analysis   from the field ,The POM uses about 20000 litres of diesel purchased at industrial rate.  The daily cseonsumption is about 300 l/day when the boiler operation is extended but increases to about 700 l/day during low crop.   The diesel is used for the generation of electricity primarily for the use of the POM housing estate when the POM is not operating. 


There are several factors that waste POM which converts to electricity energy in Indonesia is not optimal. Based on the Information of POM that there is relation between Production FFB processes in Boiler with normal capacity using electric energy from POM. Alternative energy such as POM that will convert into become electricity is very potential to be sold to PLN. The prediction is approximately 30-40% electric energy  come from POM can be exported to PLN. It is possible in the near future that electric energy from POM connected to PLN by grid connected technology using Transformer, Synchronizing in low voltage with 0,4 kV and Cable with the capacity 20 kV. The development of POM using Grid connected technology also need good qualified human resources, so that the utilize of POM can be increased and be able to reduce the implementation of Diesel Generator. 1
