Judul : Studi Pemanfaatan Mo-ZAA sebagai Katalis dan Pengaruh Variasi Temperatur Hidrocracking Terhadap Prok Hidrocracking Minyak JarakPagar
Abstrak :

The study of utilization Mo-active natural zeolite (Mo-ZAA) as catalyst and the influence of hydrocracking temperature variation to hydrocracking castor  oil product has been done. Hydrocracking process of castor oil was conducted with variation of temperature 250oC, 300oC, 350oC, 400oC, 450oC, 500oC and 550oC, the flow rate of hydrogen gases 3.5 mL/min and the weight of catalyst 1.5 g. Hydrocracking product of castor oil was analysed including to combustion heat, density and viscosity by using bomb calorimeter, picnometer and Ostwald viscometer instrument. The result of this research showed tat the best value of combustion heat, density and viscosity in a row was 53.0003 kJ/g; 0.9698 g/mL and 3.1691 poise, respectively which operated at 350oC temperature of hydrocracking. The using of Mo-ZAA as catalyst also play a role in the process of hydrocracking. This can be seen from the value of combustion heat, density and viscosity of the hydrocracking product of castor oil was better than value of combustion heat, density and viscosity before hydrocracking.
