Judul	:	Comparison of Double Exponential Smoothing and Double Moving Average in Demand Forecasting of Mango Puree
Abstrak	:	Micro small and medium enterprise companies are among industries that need forecasting the most. Many companies do not know their future demands and have to rely on demand forecasts to make decisions in production planning, sourcing and inventory management both in long and short term. CV. PromindoUtama as one of the micro small and medium enterprise company in Indonesia which markets mango puree products for Harumanis is still decides to buy or order raw materials base on estimate or prediction of the owner, so that resulting in a shortage or excess stock. The aim of the research is to optimize the overall inventory demand through forecasting techniques of Double Exponential Smoothing and Double Moving Average. With the two methods forecast value is determined and the smallest value of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) is selected. The results of data analysis showed that the Double Exponential Smoothing is considered an appropriate method to forecast the inventory demand of CV. PromindoUtama because it produces the smallest value of MAPE.
